For over 500 years, people have gathered in the Tuscan town of Siena to experience what many consider to be the most exciting horse race in the world, the Palio di Siena. Each year on July 2nd and August 16th, ten of the seventeen contrada (neighborhoods) in Siena compete in this tradition. Although the race lasts only 90 seconds, life stops during those three laps around the Piazza del Campo. For the crowd, this is more than a celebration or a horse race - this is a passion.

Phil Ayoub
Managing Partner
Phil Ayoub is the Founder and Managing Partner of Palio Advisory. Mr. Ayoub has over 20 years of experience in banking and finance roles helping businesses and their management teams across many industries. His past experience includes senior level positions in the Washington, D.C. area at TD Bank, Truist, and Capital One. Mr. Ayoub holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Accounting from Elizabethtown College and holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business. He resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and enjoys playing golf in his free time. Mr. Ayoub has held multiple past advisory and board positions including with Junior Achievement of Greater Washington.
